BBQ Crescent Rolls Ingredients

The best part about this simple recipe is that you need just a few ingredients to make it. Since most of the ingredients are already prepared, you just have to take a few minutes to fill each crescent roll, then wait for them to bake. So, to make these simple BBQ crescent rolls, you’ll need:

Crescent roll dough. Premade crescent roll dough is the key to this quick and easy appetizer. Just open the package and separate the dough to get started on this simple recipe.
BBQ chicken. The next element in this quick recipe is BBQ chicken. Make your own chicken quickly and easily by combining precooked shredded chicken or rotisserie chicken with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Baked beans. Use leftover beans from your last BBQ or open up a can of your favorite baked beans to add even more barbeque flavor to your crescent rolls.
Cheese. Finish creating your stuffing for your crescent rolls by adding a little bit of cheese to the mix. The melty goodness is the perfect topping to the rest of the BBQ flavors.

How to Stuff Crescent Rolls

Once you have your ingredients ready to go, it’s time to start stuffing! Follow these simple tips for stuffing your crescent rolls with BBQ filling:

1. Keep the stuffing at the end of the dough. After unrolling your triangles, make sure to keep all your stuffing ingredients on wide end of the triangle. This will help keep all the BBQ stuffing contained within the roll.
2. Wrap the dough around the stuffing. Once you add the stuffing ingredients, carefully lift up the dough and wrap the remaining dough around the stuffing. This will help keep the stuffing from falling out as you try to roll the crescent roll up.
3. Brush with butter. Before you bake your crescent rolls, brush them with butter to get a golden brown crust. You can add even more BBQ flavor to your snacks with the help of a sprinkling of barbeque seasoning on the top of each roll before you put them in the oven.
