Hungry and have just a few things on hand, like canned corn, 1 egg & some flour? Whip up this corn pie! Corn Pie- made with pantry staples!

Is it ugly? Oh yeah. Could it have been prettier? Probably. 😜 This particular corn pie had Parmesan cheese and bacon mixed in, but the plain corn pie is just delicious as well!


But what it lacks in appearance, it more than makes up for in flavor! This is a family staple recipe. I grew up eating this budget friendly recipe and my kids love it!

1 Can Cream Corn

1 Can Kernel Corn

1 tablespoon Flour

1 tablespoon Sugar

dash of salt + pepper

1 egg

Optional: cheese, peppers, bacon, etc


1. Preheat oven to 400.

2. Spray pan- pour in cans of corn, add flour, sugar, salt & pepper, and egg. Mix well! {Add in extras as well.}

3. Pop in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
