Tips for Making Amazing Banana Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
- I love adding almond extract to desserts, but I know some may not like that. Vanilla works perfectly in this recipe as well.
- I make this recipe without covering the pan without any problems. However, if you notice your loaf starting to brown around the edges, feel free to cover the pan with aluminum foil until it has finished baking.
- Let your loaf sit in the pan and cool for a few minutes before flipping it over and out of the pan. If you need to, slip the blade of a knife down in the pan, along the loaf on all sides, to keep it from sticking.
- Use a toothpick to check your loaf for doneness. It’s done when the toothpick comes out clean with no crumbs.
There you go! This Banana Chocolate Chip Pound Cake is so amazing that you’ll have a hard time going back to plain pound cake!
