Welcome back to my affordable home series! While I love retailers like Anthropologie and Serena & Lily, I cannot bring myself to spend thousands of dollars for often seasonal decor. Today I want to focus on the dining room, which I find is the most consistent in keeping the same scenery. Even though dining pieces are usually worth investing in, there are always dupes for designer quality without the price tag.

Regarding the main accent pieces in my dining room, I would love to have a collection of unique and practical elements. This Serena & Lily Woven Chair reminds me of a coastal kitchen, but for $700, I’ll pass. However, you can’t tell me this Creative Co-Op Woven Rope Chair isn’t the same for $165. Besides the main table, I love having a unique Console Cabinet or table for storage and display. This Farmhouse Cabinet has the exact design, just in a different color. Nothing some paint and primer can’t fix.
Glassware Dupes
I have four kids, so I’ll be sipping out of my various tumblers most of the time. But I love keeping my dining room table set with Colorful Wine Glasses. I love to play around with color, but this Amazon Stemware honestly has a deeper color and is less expensive. Or for when I have guests over or drink my iced coffee in the morning, I appreciate a stunning Glass Cup. While they come in a set of six, so do these Romantic Water Glasses for almost $100 cheaper!
Dining Dinner Plates
Anthropologie has an exquisite selection of various plates with elaborate designs. I seriously want them all, like this classic French Floral Plate. Unfortunately, they come with a set of four, which is expected but impractical for big families like mine. But these Blue and White Floral Dinner Plates come in a set of six for way less. The Levi Pasta Bowl Plates are a staple for almost every meal. However, these Ceramic Bowl Plates come with more and look the same!
Designer pieces are meant to draw our eyes with their stunning features and “good quality.” When putting together your dining area, there are definitely pieces worth investing in, but there are usually more affordable options.
