Workwear Outfit Inspo: Working 9 to 5 in Style
Workwear Outfit #1 Dress to Impress
A slim white pair of dress pants go a long way to bringing an outfit to life and is a great way to pull different patterns together. I love this example from Nordstrom with a plaid blazer that adds personality to your outfit but has accent colors to match a tank top underneath. I chose a black blouse, but with these white pants, you can go crazy with the color. Keeping it neutral but sleek throughout the look poses the opportunity for a pop of color in shoewear. These blue pumps are a stunning color that standout under your desk. Accessories should also be a soft component in this style, keeping it on the sleeker side. Of course, you can never go wrong with a black bag.
Boss Energy Outfit #2
This outfit put together from Nordstrom pieces reminds me of the classic Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, look. The dress is comfortable and almost casual but adding a belt to snatch at the waistline changes the aesthetic. Navy is a classic color we see in workwear, but I love it when worn subtly, making it seem more put together. I would pair this look with simple accessories, such as this dainty necklace and bag that matches the belt. These floral heels with a pointy toe scream workwear in the best way possible because they spice up any outfit.
I Mean Business Outfit #3
A more conservative approach to workwear, but this look is always clean and professional. The classic black blazer and pant combo is the workwear aesthetic as old as time but literally never fails. A white blouse underneath this suit to add contrast looks excellent in any work setting. A black heel won’t overdo it, and it’s just what you need to tie the whole boss look together. Plus, the possibilities are endless once you find the perfect black blazer! Pair it with workwear or casual looks for every day of the week!
