Naughty Peppermint Hot Cocoa
An easy to make, adult friendly hot cocoa.

Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
Hot Cocoa
- 3 oz Peppermint Schnapps
- 3 oz Chocolate Liqueur
- 5 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint
Simple Syrup
Add sugar and water to small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Allow to cool, the pour into glass jar. Refrigerate for up to a month.
Peppermint Hot Cocoa
Dip the rims of the mugs into the simple syrup and then into the crushed candy canes.
Set the mugs to the side.
Add milk, cocoa and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until cocoa and sugar are dissolved, and the mixture is warm.
Remove from the heat, do not let it simmer.
Add peppermint schnapps & chocolate liqueur.
Pour into mugs. Garnish with whipped cream, and sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Enjoy!
