I love adding almond extract to desserts, but I know some may not like that. Vanilla works perfectly in this recipe as well.
Tip #1
If you notice that baked goods typically brown in your oven, cover the loaf with foil for most of the cooking time.
Tip #2
Let your loaf cool for 20+ minutes before turning over and removing from the pan for it to better hold its shape.
Tip #3
Use a toothpick to check your loaf for doneness. It’s done when the toothpick comes out clean with no crumbs.
