With staying home so much more than usual, we’ve been getting EXTRA creative with playtime. It’s not as bad for the bigs because they love to read and can entertain themselves with no issue, but Emms on the other hand…not so much. I’m such a fan of subscriptions for toddlers now! Be it electronic subscriptions like the monthly activity books from Creative Change Connect or a fun monthly play kit subscription like from Lovevery, there’s something to always keep any toddler or preschooler entertained & happy.
Creative Change Connect
Creative Change Connect is a relatively new, but very fun online subscription. It’s affordable, clocking in at around $10 per month with the monthly subscription. Sign up at their website here and get all of the fun! What I love about this service is that it’s online, so I can access it from anywhere. You only need to print off a handful of things for activities & the printables are all wonderful!
It isn’t just for play though! It includes ideas for family nights, worksheets, coloring pages, book recommendations and more. You also get discounts on items in their store if you become a member, so it’s definitely worth it! We have done numerous activities out of the workbook and love them.
I really can’t recommend them enough, especially if you’re tired of coming up with ideas on your own or if you would rather not spend a lot for a toddler subscription service.
Lovevery
Lovevery is more than just an amazing subscription service for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. It’s a Montessori + Waldorf inspired of quality play pieces that any and every little will love for years to come. I have no doubt the toys Emms have will last us forever.
Their subscription boxes, or play kits, are sent out every 2-3 months and are jam packed with goodies your little one will delight over. With play kits starting at $36 per month, these are an affordable gift option for your niece, nephew, best friend’s kiddo and more. Choosing a play kit is a cinch as well! You put in your child’s age and the right age play kit is sent to you. So easy!
Lovevery also offers more than play kits! They have the most amazing Block Set that is so full of pieces. Chris and I were stunned when we opened the box and Emms immediately jumped with joy. It was so precious! He sat for hours happily playing, with some parental and sibling assistance, while learning as well. These Montessori-esque toys are great for fine motor skills and problem solving since there’s puzzles, blocks, and more.
This would be a wonderful gift for an expecting mama as well as a preschool teacher or little one!
Are they worth the cost?
It’s easy to look at the cost of things and immediately decide yes or no for some of us. I’m an immediate answer person, while Chris stews for a bit. But honestly, we both decided these were yeses all around for not only the Creative Change Connect online book, but also the Lovevery play kit. We look forward to seeing the ideas and worksheets from Creative Change Connect, while loving how Emms can be entertained on his own with the items from Lovevery. I’m also partial to all things Montessori, so I try to buy items that are either Montessori or Montessori inspired for Emms. If you’ve tried either before, did you love them?
