Butter Sugar Eggs Vanilla Buttermilk Flour Baking Soda + Powder Salt Salted Caramel Sauce
Combine cake ingredients by mixing together wet + dry then combining.
Divide evenly between two 8 inch pans and bake 45-50 mins until a tooth pick comes out clean.
Make butter sauce. Heat butter, sugar, and vanilla over medium heat until butter dissolves. Pour over cake once done cooking after poking holes into the cake.
Let cake cool completely and then top on layer with caramel sauce, top with other round, top with caramel sauce again.
