Goodness gracious y’all, can you believe we’re a WEEK away from Christmas? How did this year fly by so quickly?? I’m honestly still in disbelief. We moved from Florida this summer, so we got to spend half of our year in sunny warmth and the second half of our year in chilly & gray (but still beautiful!) Minnesota. Talk about a drastic change guys. I’m still adjusting even though we’ve been here for 6 months. With all that being said, I am so excited for 2019. I’ve got so many goals I’d love to achieve and of course, I’m oh so ready for summer. Anyone else?! I know in all the mom groups I’m in on Facebook (VA groups, working mama groups, goal setting & achieving groups, etc…a slew of many wonderful ones on there!) that it’s been the big talk this month. Goal planning, finding the best planners, who is designing what planner… I’m always amazed at the people who are able to plan a full year in advance, with goals and work. I’m just now getting into that mindset, so wish me luck!
What are your goals for the new year? I’ve started writing down my personal work goals- narrowing down my virtual assistant niche, getting better at that niche (can you ever learn too much??), working on my personal brand (anyone else feel silly saying that?) and social media growth. Everything I learn about social media I implement in my own accounts because, why not? It’s the perfect place to see how it works. After that, I implement it in whatever accounts I’m working on. Y’all, social media can be so fun. I know it can be draining if we play the comparison game, which is so easy to do. I have been guilty of it as well, but once you realize it’s literally just everyone’s highlight reel, it’s much easier to just enjoy the scroll. The best part are the connections y’all. I love it. I’ve ‘met’ so many wonderful people on Instagram and Facebook since I started working in the social media field.
Ok y’all, enough with my rambling! Sales guys! Who has been checking out the amazing sales that stores have been having? I was in a Gap outlet the other day and was able to get some stellar prices. A $49 vest was $9 kind of stellar. Ahhhh the joy of fabulous pricing for a deal hunter. Target is still running sales on their sweaters. If you’re like me and owned maybe 1, these sales have been such a lifesaver!
Thanks for stopping by for a read y’all! Make sure to follow along to see if I actually achieve those goals. HA Kidding y’all, totally going to try my best to do so. Would love to hear what yours are! Drop me a line and let me know what you’re planning for 2019. I would love to hear from you.
